
Stampede Sweep Jackets, Host Chicago Saturday Night

Sioux Falls Stampede News Release
The Sioux Falls Stampede will hit the road for the first time in four weeks this Friday when the club travels to Lincoln to play the Stars. The Herd will return home on Saturday to face the Chicago Steel at 7:05 PM.
The Stampede are 5-3-3 on the season after completing a weekend sweep of the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets this past weekend at the Sioux Falls Arena. The Stampede finished their six-game homestand with a 4-1-1 mark and are currently in third place in the West Division.
On Friday, the Stampede topped the Blue Jackets 4-2, behind Jake Drewiske's eventual game winning goal with just over three minutes remaining in the third period. On Saturday, Nick Dineen scored twice while Pierre native Matt Farris added a goal and an assist of his own to help guide the Herd to a 5-3 win.
The Lincoln Stars are 4-6-1 on the season after being swept last weekend in Indiana by scores of 4-1 and 8-4. Veteran forward Jason Gregoire leads the way with 11 points (5g, 6a) in 11 games.
The Chicago Steel (3-7-0) make their first visit to Sioux Falls on Saturday after falling to Omaha and Cedar Rapids last weekend. The Steel have lost five straight games since defeating Waterloo on October 19th. The bulk of their offense has come from Brian O'Neil (16pts) and Andy Miele (15 pts).
MILITARY NIGHT THIS SATURDAY
The Stampede will be honoring those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Military during Saturday night's home game versus Chicago.
The color guard will be on hand for the national anthem and the Air National Guard will be a part of the ceremonial "dropping of the puck."
In addition, the Stampede will be saluting members of the military during both intermissions with the assistance of several Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders who will also be attending the game

The players will be on hand to promote the new Stampede "Choice of Champions," 5-meat pizza produced by Hot Stuff Foods. The Players will also sign autographs and pose for photos during the event.

The Stampede will be hosting a B2 Networks viewing party next Friday, November 16th at Buffalo Wild Wings when the Stampede travel to Green Bay.

SOLWAY TALLIES GAME WINNER FOR BOWLING GREEN-
Former Stampede forward, David Solway recorded his first collegiate goal Friday night, scoring the game winner in overtime for the Bowling Green Falcons as they topped Western Michigan 3-2. The Falcons won again in overtime the following night, topping Western Michigan 5-4 and earning a weekend sweep.
