Sweden Vs. Switzerland Pre-Competition Game Tickets on Sale Now

Tickets to the Sweden vs. Switzerland World Junior Pre-Competition game on December 23rd, scheduled for a 7pm start at the Gatorade Garden City Complex, went on sale to the general public this morning at 10am and are on sale now!
The game is another opportunity for Niagara fans to catch some world class competition in their own backyard for a very reasonable price, with tickets being priced at normal IceDogs walk-up prices of $19.50 for a premium seat, $18.50 for an end seat and $14 for a standing room ticket.
In addition to the excitement of the game itself, there had been some great news surrounding the game in the past week. First of all, Team Sweden has announced they will be holding their training camp at the Gatorade Garden City Complex, leading up to their pre-competition games and the tournament itself, with the Swedes being based out of St. Catharines from December 18th until they depart for Buffalo on December 24th.
The other piece of great news surrounding the game came when the New York Islanders sent 2010 first round pick, 5th overall, Nino Neiderreiter back to the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL after having spent the first 9 games with the Islanders. This means that Niedereitter will definitely be available for Team Switzerland and will look to spark the Swiss again, as he did in helping lead them to a surprise fourth place finish last season.
This also means that not only will Niagara fans will be able to catch another of the CHL's top players at the Gatorade Garden City Complex, but in this case it will give them a rare opportunity to catch one of the WHL's top players. Combined with the star power of Kitchener Rangers Captain Gabriel Landeskog, who is expected to be a part of the Swedish squad, this game will feature not only some top notch international players, but also a pair of the CHL's top imports.
