Wichita, KS - Right after 2B Nick Dunn tied the game with a three-run double in the top of the 8th, Wichita RF Matt Wallner struck with a solo home run in the bottom of the 8th to propel the Wind Surge (22-12) to the 6-5 win against the Springfield Cardinals (14-22) at Riverfront Stadium on Thursday night.

Notables:

2B Nick Dunn went 2x4 with the game-tying three-run double in the 8th... 3B Jordan Walker went 2x5 with an RBI double in the 5th... CF Moises Gomez went 2x4 with an RBI single in the 3rd.. RHP Ryan Loutos dealt 2.2 perfect innings out of the bullpen, retiring all eight batters he faced.
