ATLANTIC CITY_ The Atlantic City Surf won its sixth straight game Sunday afternoon against the Road Warriors 8-1. The six game winning streak ties the Surf's longest streak of the season set back in the end of August. The Surf improve their second half record to 30-21 and are now 4 games ahead of the Camden Riversharks in the Wild Card race.
The Surf's Leo Estrella picked up his 4th win of the season going 7 innings giving up one run and striking out 7. The Surf's Melvin Rosario went 2-4 with 2 RBIs, and Joe Jiannetti also added 2 RBIs in a 1-3 effort at the plate.
The Surf look to continue their playoff push Wednesday night against the Somerset Patriots. Game time is 6:35 at Bernie Robbins Stadium.
