Atlantic City Surf News Release
The ever-elusive New Jersey American Water fireworks show has been rescheduled again after it was washed out Saturday night Aug. 30. The show, originally slated for Aug. 9 when it was fogged out, will be staged on Sept. 13 as part of the Surf''s Fan Appreciatiion Weekend. The Surf will have back-to-back shows on the last regularly-scheduled home weekend of the season against the Camden Riversharks on Sept. 12-13.
"It''s been the strangest summer weather we''ve seen a while here at the Jersey Shore,'''' Surf marketing director Chuck Betson said. "But we want to make sure New Jersey American Water gets the fireworks show it deserves.
"Our fireworks shows have become the talk of the region. We are proud of them and we couldn''t do them without out sponsors.''
