HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Hagerstown Suns picked up their second straight walkoff win on Saturday night at Municipal Stadium, defeating the Delmarva Shorebirds by a score of 8-7. Catcher Jhonathon Solano hit a game-winning three run home run with the Suns trailing 7-5 in the bottom of the ninth to give Hagerstown their second straight dramatic victory. The Suns recorded 13 hits in the game, as five players recorded two hits.
Corey VanAllen got the start for the Suns and struck out the first eight batters he faced in the ballgame. He left after five innings of work and picked up a no decision, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out twelve Delmarva batters. Juan De Los Santos went two innings and got the win, Luis Lebron picked up the loss for the Shorebirds. The Suns improved to 8-14 and the Shorebirds dropped to 8-13 on the season.
