Salisbury, NC: Drew Butera had the best day at the plate of any Suns hitter this year going 5-5 with a homer in a 9-4 Suns win over the Delmarva Shorebirds Saturday night. Hagerstown (24-38) won for the sixth time in eight games. Jonathan Sanchez hit his 5th homerun in 11 games as well. RHP Bobby Parnell (1-4) earned his first win of the year with a 6 1/3, seven-hit, two-run performance.
The rubber match is Sunday at 1:35pm. The Suns send LHP phenom Jonathan Niese (7-3) up against Delmarva's RHP Manny Basilio (4-2). The Suns then travel to Charleston to face the West Virginia Power for two games starting Monday before hosting the Power for two and Delmarva for three begining Wednesday.
