
Suns Trounce Barons 13-0 in Series Finale

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Barons suffered a 13-0 defeat in their series finale against theHuntsville Stars Sunday in front of 4,404 fans at Regions Field.
Starter Myles Jaye struggled in his second career outing against the Stars, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits while walking four and striking out three over 3.0 IP.
Jefferson Olacio relieved Jaye in the fourth inning and proceeded to allow six runs on six hits over 1.1 IP as the Stars pushed the lead to 10-0 after five innings.
With the loss, the Barons fell to 52-67 on the year and 23-26 in the second half while Huntsville improved to 70-50 overall and 24-26 in the second half.
The Barons have an off-day on Monday before heading to Jackson Tennesee to begin a six-game series against the Generals. RH Tony Bucciferro (1-1, 7.15) takes the hill for the Barons in game one against LHP Cam Hobson (7-9, 4.20). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM CDT.
