Suns-Shorebirds Postponed on Tuesday

Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns and Delmarva Shorebirds contest scheduled for Tuesday, July 24 at 7:05 PM has been postponed due to wet grounds. The two teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 25th with a 5:05 PM first pitch.
Fans who purchased tickets to Tuesday's game can exchange those tickets for entry to any remaining regular season Suns game at Historic Municipal Stadium in 2018. Gates for Wednesday's double header will open at 4:00 PM for Bark in the Park presented by Pet Valu. Wednesday is also Welcome Wednesday for USA Cycling presented by Washington County/Hagerstown Convention and Visitor's Bureau with special guest and Governor of Maryland Larry Hogan.
Tuesday's postponement is the 15th weather effected game of the season for the Suns as well as the fourth this month and fifth of the second-half.
The Suns and Shorebirds will begin their series on Wednesday with a 5:05 PM first pitch to start the doubleheader and four-game set. The Suns will travel to Lakewood on Friday to begin a three-game set, ending the regular season series between the two clubs.
