RiverDogs Take Game Two

Charleston, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, lost 5-1 to the Charleston RiverDogs on Tuesday night.
The RiverDogs got out to any early lead in the ballgame by scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. They would add another run in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend their lead to 3-0.
The GreenJackets were frustrated at the plate all night, until the seventh inning. Manuel Geraldo led off the inning with a single into left field. Orlando Garcia would follow with a double into the left field corner to score Geraldo from first base. This cut the RiverDogs lead to 3-1, but that score would be short-lived. In the bottom of the inning, a two-run home run from Dermis Garcia put the RiverDogs in control as they went on to win 5-1.
The GreenJackets (13-19) will be back in action tomorrow in Charleston at 7:05 pm for game three of the four-game series.
