JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns current homestand against the Birmingham Barons concludes this afternoon at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Today is the Suns' annual Back-to-School Day. The first 1,500 kids will receive a drawstring jersey backpack, courtesy of Publix Supermarkets, First Coast News and Lite 96.1FM. Fans can also help Publix and First Coast News "Stuff the Bus" by donating school supplies. Each fan who donates unused school supplies will get a free hot dog, courtesy of Publix Supermarkets and the Suns. Sunday is also the last day of Mayo Clinic weekend and Kids Run the Bases after the game, sponsored by Florida Telco Credit Union.
Tickets for today's game and the rest of the regular season are currently available by calling the Suns ticket office at 358-2846 or by ordering online at www.jaxsuns.com. Season tickets, group nights and limited sponsorships are still available.
