
Suns-Grasshoppers Rained out Friday

Hagerstown, MD- The Hagerstown Suns and Greensboro Grasshoppers contest scheduled for Friday, June 22 at 7:05 PM has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the game as part of a double header on Saturday with a 5:05 PM first pitch. Friday's post-game fireworks display has also been postponed and has been rescheduled for August 3 presented by Potomac Edison.
Gates will open at 4:00 PM for Saturday's double header, with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a special Victor Robles bobblehead presented by Potomac Edison. Game two of the twin-bill will begin approximately 30 minutes after the final out of the first game.
Fans who purchased tickets to Friday night's game can exchange those tickets for entry to any remaining regular season Suns game at Historic Municipal Stadium this season. Tuesday's postponement is the 12th weather effected game of the season for the Suns as well as the second this month and first of the second-half.
The Suns and Grasshoppers will wrap up the three-game set with the double header on Saturday. Hagerstown begins a six-game road trip on Sunday with three games in Delmarva before moving on to Lakewood for three games.
