Suns-BlueClaws Rained out on Saturday

Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns and Lakewood BlueClaws contest scheduled for Saturday, July 21 at 6:05 PM has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the game as part of a double header on Sunday with a 1:05 PM first pitch. Saturday's giveaway will be moved to Friday, August 3rd with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a commemorative Woolie Christmas ornament.

Fans who purchased tickets to Saturday's game can exchange those tickets for entry to any remaining regular season Suns game at Historic Municipal Stadium in 2018. Gates for tomorrow's double header will open at noon for Sunday Funday where Kids Club members can play catch of the field pre-game and all kids can run the bases following the second game of the double header.

Saturday's postponement is the 13th weather effected game of the season for the Suns as well as the second this month and third of the second-half. It's also the fourth time this season that Hagerstown and Lakewood were postponed with three of the four contests being at Historic Municipal Stadium.

The Suns and BlueClaws wrap up their four-game series on Sunday with Hagerstown beginning a four-game set against the Delmarva Shorebirds beginning Monday. The Suns will travel to Lakewood on Friday to begin a three-game set, ending the regular season series between the two clubs.
