Arizona Sundogs News Release


Arizona heads into the week in first place in the CHL Southwest Division with a 5-2-1 record (11 points).

Sundogs Storylines:

- The Sundogs hold the Southwest Division's best home record (4-1-0)

- Arizona ranks second in the CHL in goals scored (34)

- Tyler Redenbach ranks second in CHL scoring with 15 points (3g/12a)...Redenbach has an eight-game point streak coming into the week, having tallied at least a point in each of Arizona's first eight games.

- Alex Leavitt ranks fourth in CHL scoring with 14 points (5g/9a)...Leavitt currently owns a five-game point streak (4g/5a)

- In their first charity jersey auction of the year on Halloween night, the Arizona Sundogs raised over $36,000 for charity. In five jersey auctions dating back to the 2006-07 season, the Sundogs have raised more than $160,000 for the Arizona Sundogs Foundation.

- Andrew Gallant grabbed his first win in his first professional start on Saturday, Nov. 3 in 5-2 win vs. Odessa

- Arizona's power play ranks fourth in the CHL (23.08%)

- Sundogs attendance is up from last season, averaging 4,445 fans per game, 220 more than in 2006-07
