Rocky Mountain Rage News Release
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-1-1 OVERALL RECORD: 5-1-1, 11 pts., 1st Place Northwest Division
Oct. 30 vs. Colorado, 4-3 Overtime Loss - The Rage bolted out to a 3-0 lead behind a natural hat trick from Nathan Rosychuk but could not hold the advantage, eventually losing 1:12 into overtime.
Nov. 2 vs. Colorado, 4-2 Win - Rocky Mountain avenged the week's previous loss to the Eagles with a come-from-behind victory of its own. David Morelli scored his first goal of the year and Daymen Rycroft tallied twice to turn a 2-0 second-period deficit into a 3-2 lead heading to the third. Scott Wray added an insurance goal late in the final frame and Scott Reid made 33 saves as the club solidified its hold on first place in the Northwest Division.
Nov. 3 @ New Mexico, 10-0 Loss - The Rage suffered their first regulation loss of the season but did so in style, giving up a league season-high 10 goals to the Scorpions.

NOTES
* Despite the embarrassing setback on Saturday, the Rage still lead the Northwest Division by three points over the second-place Eagles.
* Rocky Mountain did not reach its fifth win last season until Nov. 28.
* The team completed its first home stand with a record of 3-0-1. The second of three season-long, four-game stretches at Broomfield Event Center begins on Friday.
* The Rage did not give-up a first period goal nor did they trail after two periods through the season's first six games. Both streaks came to an end on Saturday.
* Rosychuk's hat trick was the third in franchise history. His three-goal outburst capped a four-game goal streak, equaling the team record first set by Chip Dunleavy last season.
* Wray leads the team and is tied for fourth in the CHL with 14 points (5g-9a). He recorded at least one point in each of the season's first six games, tying the team mark for longest point streak first set by Craig Olynick last year.
