Sundogs Make Roster Moves to Start Second Half of Season

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs Professional Hockey Club, proud member of the Central Hockey League, today announced it has traded right winger Martin Doyle and future considerations to the Austin Ice Bats in exchange for goaltender Kevin Couture.

Appearing in 27 games for the Sundogs, Doyle collected two goals and three assists for a combined five points while racking up a team-leading 133 penalty minutes.

In 12 starts for the Ice Bats, Couture was 5-7-0 with a 2.80 GAA (goals against average) and a .913 save percentage.

The Sundogs, currently tied for third place in the Southwest Division at 17-17-1, face off tonight at 7:00pm at the Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley against fellow third place club the New Mexico Scorpions. Both clubs sit just two points back of first place Amarillo.
