PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced today the signings of forwards Kevin Gardner and Jason Beeman to their roster for the upcoming 2009-10 season.

Following a five-year career at Northern Michigan University, Gardner, 28, spent one season in the ECHL before playing overseas in Germany the last three seasons. In a combined 61 games as a rookie with the Idaho Steelheads and Stockton Thunder in 2005-06, Gardner recorded 14 goals, 21 assists and 35 penalty minutes (PIM).

The Edmonton, Alberta, native's offensive production sharply increased while playing in Germany where he averaged more than a point per game, registering 85 goals and 117 assists in 146 contests. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound centerman had his best pro season in 2007-08 while helping the Dresden Ice Lions (GerObL) to a league title, setting career highs in goals (40), assists (52) and points (92) in just 52 games.

Beeman, a native of Los Angeles, California, skated for three seasons in the ECHL with the Long Beach Ice Dogs, Texas Wildcatters, Stockton Thunder and Mississippi Sea Wolves after a five-year stint with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

No stranger to the penalty box, Beeman collected 555 PIM along with 165 points (68g/97a) in 326 regular season games in the WHL. In 89 games as a pro, Beeman has accumulated 199 PIM. In 2006-07 while with the Wildcatters, Beeman tallied career highs in goals (8), assists (16), points (24) and penalty minutes (143).
