Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
Pensacola, Fla. - The Blue Wahoos series finale with the Tennessee Smokies originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m. on Sunday has been moved up to a 1:05 p.m. first pitch. The change is made for the safety of the fans and teams involved with Tropical Storm Alberto churning in the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola sitting in the projected path.
With the time change, normal McDonald's Family Sunday activities such as Kids run the Bases and Family Toss will take place following the game, weather permitting. The scheduled Memorial Day fireworks show will be rescheduled for another time.
Game four of the series is still on as scheduled for Saturday night at 6:05 p.m.
