Sun To Host CIAC Championship Luncheon

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 10, 2010) - For the fifth consecutive year, the Connecticut Sun will host the CIAC High School Girls' Basketball State Championship Luncheon. For the second time, the event will be held in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center.

All eight teams competing for the four state titles will be on hand for this event, which is scheduled to run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17th.

Connecticut Sun Vice President and General Manager Chris Sienko and CIAC Assistant Executive Director Dave Maloney will address the audience, and the featured speaker will be Sun guard Kara Lawson.
