
Sun Sign Greek Guard Evanthia Maltsi

UNCASVILLE, CT. (June 9, 2007) - The Connecticut Sun announced Friday it has signed guard Evanthia Maltsi for the remainder of the season.
As per team policy, no terms were released.
A 5-foot-9 guard from Greece, Maltsi spent the past offseason playing for France's Bourges Basket, where she averaged 12.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 14 games. A member of the Greek National Team, she participated in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens where she was the Games' third-leading scorer, averaging 20.9 points and eight rebounds in seven games.
