Sun Preseason Schedule Set

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 12, 2015) - The Connecticut Sun will open its 13th season by participating in the Atlanta Dream Classic, a preseason doubleheader at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville on May 23rd .
Connecticut faces the Indiana Fever at 5 p.m. with the Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics matching up in the second game of the doubleheader.
The Sun will complete their preseason at Mohegan Sun Arena on May 27-28 with a special two-day event as the Chinese National Team, defending Eastern Conference champion Chicago Sky and Los Angeles Sparks all visit for a pair of doubleheaders.
On the 27th, the Sky and Sparks will tip off at 5 p.m. with the Connecticut Sun scheduled to play China at 7 p.m. On the 28th, the Sky face China at 5 p.m. with the Sun meeting Los Angeles at 7 p.m.
"We thought this was a great opportunity to give our fans a chance to see four games in two days,"Â Connecticut Sun Vice President and General Manager Chris Sienko said. "The Chinese team has not been here since 2004, and the Sky and Sparks are expected to be two of the best teams in the WNBA this year so it is a unique showcase for women's basketball. Combine that with our participation in the Atlanta Dream Classic, and it should be a very exciting preseason."
