CHICAGO - The defending Eastern Conference Champion Chicago Sky will participate in a special two-day preseason event with the Chinese National Team, the Los Angeles Sparks and the host Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena on May 27-28.
To tip off the event on the 27th, the Sky and Sparks will take the court at 4 p.m. CT with the Connecticut Sun scheduled to play Team China immediately following. On the 28th, the Sky will face Team China at 4 p.m. CT with the Sun meeting the Sparks in the second game to close out the night.
"Competing in an event like this, where we get to play back-to-back games, is a great way to prepare for the rigor of our regular season schedule," said Sky Head Coach and General Manager Pokey Chatman. "By that very nature, this event provides tremendous value as we prepare to take the court in 2015."
