Sun Individual Tickets On Sale April 9th

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (April 1, 2009) - Connecticut Sun fans will have their first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the 2009 season beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9th, the day of the WNBA Draft.

Individual tickets for the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game, held at Mohegan Sun Arena on July 25th, will also be available beginning at that time.

The WNBA and its 13 member teams are partnering with Ticketmaster in a league-wide initiative. Fans may obtain single-game tickets by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX or by visiting either ticketmaster.com or wnba.com/tickets. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office.

Connecticut Sun season tickets, mini plans and group packages are already available for purchase, along with birthday parties and Kids' Club memberships. For more information on these plans, please call 1-877-SUN-TIXX or visit www.connecticutsun.com.

The Sun tip off their seventh season at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 6th with a 4 p.m. game against the Washington Mystics. That is the first of 17 regular season home games for the Sun, who will be pursuing their seventh consecutive trip to the playoffs.
