The Tucson Sugar Skulls have re-signed defensive back Carlito Gonzalez for the 2024 IFL season.
In 2023, Gonzales completed his rookie season in the IFL for the Skulls. He was a productive member of the squad, making an impact from day one.
In 11 games during his rookie campaign, Gonzalez recorded 40.5 tackles, 6 pass breakups, 1.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble.
The defensive back began his college career at the University of Memphis, where he compiled 29 tackles and 2 interceptions.
As a high school senior, he was ranked one of the top 75 players in Georgia by ESPN and Rivals.com
He spent his high school career at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
