
Arizona Rattlers Re-Sign DL Harold Love

The Arizona Rattlers have re-signed defensive line Harold Love for the 2024 IFL season.
Love joined the Rattlers midway through the 2023 season, providing a spark to the defense instantly. He made his debut on May 20th against the Wranglers and his record since joining the team was 8-0 in the regular season, with his lone loss coming in the 1st round of the IFL Playoffs.
In the 2023 season, Love recorded 13 tackles in nine games. He had 4 tackles for loss, 2 quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, and two blocked kicks, making his presence felt up front.
Love has spent time on many different arena football teams and leagues over the years. This includes a 2019 American Arena League Championship with the West Virginia Roughriders where he received All-AAL Honors after recording over 20 sacks that season. He has also spent time in the IFL with the Tri-cities Fever (2014) and Spokane Empire (2015, 2017). He played in the CIF with the Dodge City Law (2016), and in the AFL with the Spokane Shock (2015) and the Portland Thunder (2014). His most recent stop before joining the Rattlers was in the National Arena League with the Jacksonville Sharks, who are now members of the IFL.
He started his college career at Feather River College before transferring to Bethune Cookman in 2010. At Bethune Cookman, he recorded 37 tackles and six tackles for loss.
From Portland, Oregon, he attended Grant High School where his senior year he won first-team All-League Honors.
