StubHub Center Foundation and LA Galaxy Foundation to Host 13th

CARSON, Calif.- The StubHub Center Foundation and LA Galaxy Foundation will host the 13th Annual Thanksgiving Foundations' Feast at StubHub Center's American Express Stadium Club on Monday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. PT. As part of the event, LA Galaxy players as well as staff from both the LA Galaxy and StubHub Center will help serve a complete Thanksgiving meal to 250 local children and families in need.

An annual tradition at StubHub Center since 2003, this year's event will feature the serving of a full Thanksgiving buffet, including turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. Arts & crafts, activities, and gift bags will also be provided. This year, kids will also have the opportunity to participate in a Camp for Kids soccer clinic before dinner presented by StubHub at 2 p.m. PT at StubHub Center's Field 5.

The foundations will host families from Los Angeles Children and Family Services, The Salvation Army Red Shield, Koinonia Family Services, El Nido Family Services, New Image Homeless Shelter, Union Rescue Mission, Children's Institute, Inc., A Place Called Home, Gage Middle School, and Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services.

This year's Thanksgiving Foundations' Feast is made possible by donations from the LA Galaxy, StubHub Center, Levy Restaurants, Coca-Cola, StubHub, Ralph's/Food 4 Less, Marie Callender's, Bristol Farms, Bulletproof Coffee, Melissa's and LAUSD Homeless Education Program.

The StubHub Center Foundation will also be collecting new unwrapped toys and books for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots and The City of Carson Sheriff Department Toy Drive during the 13th Annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive starting Dec. 5 through Dec. 15, 2016. The toys will be delivered by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and City of Carson Sheriff Department to children in need, ages 2-13, in the city of Carson. All toy donations can be dropped off at the StubHub Center's main lobby on weekdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PT.
