SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have signed wide receiver Jordan Smith to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.

Smith (6-0, 185, Tennessee Tech) joins San Diego after spending the 2018 and 2019 campaigns with Cedar Rapids of the IFL finishing with 85 receptions for 717 yards and nine touchdowns. He helped contribute to the 2018 Cedar Rapids team that led the league in passing yards (178.5) and passing touchdowns (47) in the regular season.

"Jordan adds valuable indoor experience to our receiver corps and is the type of pass catcher that can execute the full route tree," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "Beyond his abilities as a pass catcher, Jordan is a natural leader and a true team guy. We're looking forward to seeing him compete in training camp."

Prior to his indoor football career, Smith played his full collegiate career at Tennessee Tech University where he recorded 59 receptions for 721 yards and six touchdowns. He was also recognized for his academic prowess, being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. Originally from LaVergne (TN), Smith attended Battle Ground Academy where he was a two-time Division II-AA All-State selection and received All Mid-State honors as a senior.
