Strike Force Sign Chris Robinson

San Diego Strike Force News Release


SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have added wide receiver/kick returner Chris Robinson to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.

Robinson (5-8, 170, Southern Utah University) comes to San Diego for his third season of indoor football after signing with the Iowa Barnstormers in 2019. Prior to Iowa, Robinson appeared in nine games during the 2017 campaign with the Salt Lake City Screaming Eagles. He finished the season with 31 receptions on 415 yards for nine touchdowns.

"Chris attended a recent open workout and impressed our staff," said Strike Force General Manager RyanEucker. "Beyond his prior experience we saw that he's really worked on his route running and has an elite burst in his change of direction both as a special team's player and receiver. He's an exciting addition to our 40-man roster."

Collegiately, Robinson appeared in 23 games for the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds. In 14 starts he finished with 60 receptions for 880 yards and eight touchdowns, earning himself All-Big Sky Honorable Mention. Before SU, he played two seasons at Mt. San Jacinto College finishing with 38 passes caught for 607 yards and six touchdowns while he added over 300 return yards his sophomore year and earned himself second-team all-conference honors. A native of Hemet, California, he earned all-conference honors and was named Hemet High School's athlete of the year his senior season. He also lettered in basketball and track & field.
