
Storm Waive Center Mandisa Stevenson

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today requested waivers on 6-3 center Mandisa Stevenson. A 2004 graduate of Auburn University, Stevenson signed with the Storm as a free agent on April 21 after spending the 2004 WNBA season with the San Antonio Silver Stars. Stevenson appeared in four games for the Storm, tallying six points and grabbing six rebounds in 53 minutes of action, before being placed on the Injured List with lower back pain on June 6.

The Seattle Sonics & Storm manages the Puget Sound region's professional basketball franchises - the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics and the WNBA's Seattle Storm. The organization oversees all sales, marketing, finance, public relations and basketball operations for the teams. The Basketball Club of Seattle LLC owns both teams.
