SEATTLE, Thursday, August 16, 2007 - The Seattle Storm today announced the special features and in-arena highlights that will mark their 2007 "Fan Appreciation Celebration" this Friday, Aug. 17, at KeyArena. Friday vs. Los Angeles is the final regular-season Storm game of the 2007 WNBA season. The game at KeyArena will include free Storm-branded Thunderstix, select Storm-autographed giveaways and a special address by Storm players.

Throughout the game, Storm mascot Doppler and the Storm Dance Troupe will give away free T-shirts and other autographed items. Storm players are scheduled to address the team's fans following the game and several lucky fans will receive autographed game-worn items from the players. One lucky fan will be chosen for a $50,000 half-court shootout at halftime, the largest prize ever offered at a Storm game.

Members of Doppler's Kids Club are encouraged to arrive early on Friday for an exclusive pizza party at 6:00 p.m. on KeyArena's West Plaza. There will also be face painting and sign making on the concourse.

Fans will also have an opportunity on Friday to vote for the second-annual "Stormies Best Actress Award." Clips from this season's StormVision feature "Movie Magic" will play throughout the game and fans will be able to vote for the "Best Actress" online at storm.wnba.com. The winner will be announced at the team's first-round WNBA playoff game.

To help build momentum heading into the 2007 playoffs, the Storm are offering lower-bowl sideline seats for $20.07 per ticket (regularly priced at $32) for the last regular season game before opening their 2007 postseason run next week on either Thursday, Aug. 23 or Friday, Aug. 24 at KeyArena.

Single-game tickets for the Seattle Storm's First Round home playoff game are on sale now. Tickets start at just $16 and are available online at storm.wnba.com, by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX and at all TicketMaster locations, including the Sonics & Storm Team Shop located on KeyArena's West Plaza.
