ATLANTA - Breanna Stewart scored a team-high 19 points but Seattle's offensive struggles combined with a big second half by Atlanta led to a 90-76 Storm loss at the Gateway Center Arena at College Park on Sunday afternoon.

The loss drops the Storm to 13-8 on the season as the team begins a three-game road trip over a five-day span before next week's All-Star break. The Dream, which picked up its first home win over Seattle since 2018, improves to 10-11 on the season.

Stewart continued to play well, pouring in 19 points while adding five rebounds and two steals, continuing her streak of scoring in double-figures in each game she has played in this season. All 10 Storm players scored in the game with seven scoring at least seven points. Jewell Loyd tallied nine and had three assists while Ezi Magbegoradded seven points, seven rebounds and three blocks to pace the offense.

Seattle's defense was able to force 17 turnovers but could score just seven points off them-all coming late in the fourth quarter-while the Dream tallied 15 points off 14 Storm turnovers. But is all came down to shooting with Seattle hitting just 34.9% from the field and while the host Dream connected on 47.1% in the game.

The Dream had a strong first quarter, connecting on 13 of their first 15 shots in the game and outscoring Seattle 32-18 over the first 10 minutes. The Storm came back to make it close at the half thanks to a 16-5 run to end the second quarter. That run made it 46-41 at halftime.

But Atlanta took back control in the third, outscore Seattle 23-16 capped by a 17-4 run to take a 72-54 lead after three and cruised from there.

Seattle heads back on the road for the second game of the trip, facing the Indiana Fever on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on FOX 13 and streamed on Prime Video (Washington state only).
