Storm Shut Out Rawhide 9-0

VISALIA, CA - For just the third time this season, the Rawhide were shutout. The 9-0 loss extended their losing streak skid to six games. The Rawhide are 0-8 against the Storm this season.
Lake Elsinore was held to two runs through seven inning before the flood gates opened up. In the eighth, the Storm scored four runs off three hits, two walks, one error, and a balk. They added three more runs in the ninth.
The Rawhide line-up combined for four hits, but left 13 runners on the bases. The only extra base hit was Sergio Gutierrez's double in the second inning. Julio Carrion tried to score from first on the two-out double, but he was thrown out at the plate.
Tomorrow's series finale is at 12:05 P.M. at Valley Strong Ballpark. Rawhide need to win in order to avoid being swept for the second time this season.
