
Storm roster trimmed to 23

(Guelph) The Guelph Storm trimmed their roster this weekend after their final pre-season game. Four players were released to set the Storm roster at 23.
Jan Bula, one of the Storms 2004 Import Draft selections will be returned to his native Czech Republic. Drafted in the 2nd Round, 76th overall, Bula recorded 41 points (17g, 24a) in 44 games with Zlin.
Todd Cooper, who played 2 regular games with the Storm last season, will be heading back to the Guelph Dominators Jr. B. Todd posted impressive numbers in Jr. B last season, recording 43 points (17g, 26a) and 53 penalty minutes in 44 games.
Nathan Spaling played 19 games with the Storm last season and will be returning to Listowel Jr. B. In 11 games in Listowel last season, Spaling recorded 9 points (6g, 3a).
Goaltender Trevor Vanwyck will return to the Owen Sound Greys Jr. B. Vanwyck was 11-5-0 last season in Owen Sound with a 3.02 GAA.
