
Storm has Seven Chosen for All-Star Game

KEARNEY â The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League learned Wednesday that seven of its players will be participating in the USHL Prospects/All-Star Game on Feb. 3 at the Ice Box in Lincoln.
The seven Storm players chosen include Rastislav Spirko, Tom Pohl, John Dingle, Bill Thomas, Chris Zarb, Jake Obermeyer and Peter Mannino. The Storm's seven All-Star selections are the most in the league. Sioux City had six players selected, while four other teams have four players each.
The USHL Prospects/All-Star Game features 40 of the USHL's top players. The roster is split into two teams, Team USHL and Team World. Mannino, Dingle, Pohl and Thomas will play for Team USHL, while Zarb, Obermeyer and Spirko will play for Team World. Tri-City assistant coach Tom Rudrud will be a coach for Team USHL at the Feb. 3 event.
