Seattle Storm News Release
SEATTLE â The Seattle Storm today announced that WNBA All-Star forward Lauren Jackson will miss the team's next three games, beginning with tonight's matchup against Sacramento, while she returns to her native Australia to visit her seriously ill grandmother.
The Storm also announced that center Janell Burse, who missed the last five games due to right hip bursitis, has been activated. In a related roster move, the Storm placed Jackson, who just returned from winning a silver medal with the Australian National Team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, on the injured list with a right mid-foot sprain. Per WNBA rules, she will miss three games while on the injured list.

Burse returns to the active roster averaging 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 20 games.
Tonight's game will be televised on Fox Sports Net with Jim Watson and Mary Murphy calling the action. It will also be broadcast on Sports Radio 950 KJR AM with David Locke providing the play-by-play and Elise Woodward serving as the game analyst.
