
Storm Forward Invited To NHL Combine

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League learned Friday that forward Patrick White has been invited to attend the National Hockey League's pre-draft combine May 29 through June 2.
The NHL combine features the top 75 North American skaters and eight goaltenders from NHL central scouting's final rankings along with the top 21 European skaters. Every team in the NHL will be represented at the combine. During the combine players will be interviewed by interested teams while also taking part in a three-hour medical and physical examination.
White, who has played in 12 Storm games this season and has eight goals and one assist, has a scholarship to the University of Minnesota.
Other current USHL players joining White at the combine will be Colby Cohen (Lincoln), Jake Hansen (Sioux Falls), Brad Malone (Sioux Falls), Max Pacioretty (Sioux City), Nick Petrecki (Omaha) and Ben Ryan (Des Moines).
The 2007 NHL entry draft will be held in Columbus, Ohio on June 22-23.
