UPCOMING OPPONENTS
The Storm face the Liberty for the first time in 2005, after splitting a pair of games last summer. Seattle earned its first-ever win at Madison Square Garden on June 15, but lost the June 26 rematch at the Spokane Arena. The Liberty hold a 5-2 edge in the all-time series, and five of the seven meetings have been decided by 10 points or more.
Seattle pulled within a game of the Shock in the all-time series (4-5) with a win in Detroit on June 8, and has now won two straight over the 2003 WNBA champions. The Storm can earn their first two-game season sweep of the Shock with a win on Saturday.
