PAPILLION, NE - The Omaha Storm Chasers return to Werner Park for a four-game weekend series beginning on Friday, July 20. Highlights for the opener include the next Flashback Jersey Series presented by First National Bank with an appearance from 1969-72 Omaha Royals manager Jack McKeon and Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks. The squad then plays a doubleheader the next day, with Nebraska's own Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers in attendance for the first game of the twinbill, followed by the third Copa de la Diversion contest with Bands & Brews and post-game fireworks presented by Kiewit for the nightcap. The homestand concludes on Sunday with Sharknado Day on U.S. Bank Family FUNday, which includes Hardee's Kids Run The Bases.
Friday, July 20 (7:05pm) vs. Round Rock Express
- Flashback Friday Jersey Series presented by First National Bank: Storm Chasers players and coaches will wear special 1985 Omaha Royals uniforms in commemoration of the Kansas City Royals' 1985 World Series Championship.
- Jack McKeon Meet & Greet presented by Atlas MedStaff: 1969-72 Omaha Royals manager Jack McKeon is scheduled to attend Friday evening's contest, with fans getting a chance to meet and get autographs from the first skipper in franchise history thanks to Atlas MedStaff.
- Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks: the night ends with a bang thanks to a Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks show following the Storm Chasers' contest.
Saturday, July 21 (12:05pm) vs. Round Rock Express
- Doubleheader: the Storm Chasers and Express face off in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 21. Separate tickets are required for each game and both games are scheduled to be seven innings in length.
- Sarah Rose Summers Homecoming: Nebraska's own Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers is scheduled to be in attendance at Werner Park, and will be honored with a special pre-game ceremony. Fans will also have the chance to meet and get autographs from Miss USA.
- Bush's Baked Beans Canned Food Drive: The Storm Chasers are teaming up with Bush's Baked Beans to fight hunger! Fans who bring two canned food items to the day game to be donated to Food Bank for the Heartland on July 21 will receive a FREE McDonald's Berm ticket.
- Bark in the Park: the Storm Chasers have added another Bark in the Park date at Werner Park, with canines welcome to join their owners for the day game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Saturday, July 21 (7:05pm) vs. Chupacabras de Round Rock
- Doubleheader: the Storm Chasers and Express face off in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 21. Separate tickets are required for each game and both games are scheduled to be seven innings in length.
- Bands & Brews: Fans can enjoy 80-cent Bud Light at the Bud Light Downdraught Bar from 6:00-7:00pm, as well as live music from Personics.
- Cazadores de Tormentas versus Chupacabras de Round Rock presented by Boot Barn: the Omaha Cazadores de Tormentas take the field for the third of four "Copa De La Diversion" games at Werner Park, in addition to Hispanic themed promotions throughout the night.
- Post-Game Fireworks presented by Kiewit: following Saturday night's game, the skies will ignite with a post-game fireworks extravaganza thanks to Kiewit.
Sunday, July 22 (2:05pm) vs. Round Rock Express
- Parentsavvy.com Play Catch on the Field: fans will be able to play catch on the Werner Park outfield (weather pending) prior to the game starting when gates open. Fans will be able to play catch for approximately 30 minutes after gates open at 12:45pm.
- U.S. Bank Family FUNday: Clowns and balloon artists will be out on the concourse for U.S. Bank Family FUNday, in addition to Wildlife Encounters.
- Hy-Vee Canned Food Sunday: fans who bring two Hy-Vee brand canned good items to be donated to Heartland Hope Mission will receive a free McDonald's Berm ticket to that day's game.
- Hardee's Kids Run The Bases: Kids ten and under will be able to run the bases following the Storm Chasers' matchup, with Parentsavvy.com Lil' Chasers Members able to be first in line.
- Sharknado Day: Aw, heck no! The Storm Chasers pay homage to the Sharknado movie series on Sunday afternoon, with the first 500 fans entering Werner Park that day receiving a Shark Fin Visor courtesy of Greater Omaha Chamber.
