Guelph Storm News Release
(Guelph) The Guelph Storm announced this afternoon the restructuring of its ownership group. Current partners Rick Gaetz, Rick Hoyle and John Heeley have purchased the interest in the team previously held by Elliott Kerr and David Livingston. Concurrent with that transaction, Scott Walker has joined the Storm ownership group. Scott is currently the Head Coach of the Storm.
"We are very excited to add someone with such an outstanding hockey background to our ownership group", stated Storm President Rick Hoyle. "Scott has an outstanding hockey mind, and is involved at the Hockey Canada level as well as the grass roots level through the Cambridge Minor Hockey Association. More importantly he embraces our values of integrity and honesty with which we as an organization try to represent the greater Guelph community.
