Stockton's Kinley Suspended Five Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Stockton defenseman Cleve Kinley has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #611 at Utah on Feb. 21.

Kinley was assessed a major penalty and a Game Misconduct under Rule 59.3 Cross-Checking at 13:18 of the first period.

Kinley is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Kinley will miss Stockton's games vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 25), vs. Idaho (Feb. 27, 28 and Mar. 1) and at Phoenix (Mar. 3).
