Las Vegas Spencer Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Las Vegas left wing Tim Spencer has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #605 at Idaho on Feb. 21.

Spencer was assessed a major penalty for fighting, a Game Misconduct and a Match Penalty under Rule 21.1 Deliberate Attempt To Injure at 12:21 of the third period.

He is automatically suspended for one game and fined as a result of the Match Penalty.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Spencer will miss Las Vegas' game at Phoenix (Feb. 23).
