
Stockton Kings Acquire Player Rights to Hollis Thompson

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced today they have acquired player rights to forward Hollis Thompson in exchange for player rights to the Northern Arizona Suns, the NBA G League affiliate of the Phoenix Suns, for forward Brandon Ashley and Agua Caliente's 2019 first round draft pick.
Thompson averaged 16.6 points (.433 FG%, .802 FT%), 6.3 rebounds, and 2.56 assists in 30 games played (30 starts) with Northern Arizona last season.
The 6'8 Georgetown product averaged 12.8 points, and 5.5 rebounds in 33 games played (33 starts) during his final season with the Hoyas before entering the 2012 NBA draft.
Thompson has spent time with NBA and NBA G League teams, including four seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers (2013-17) and signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans (2017).
The Stockton Kings will begin their second season presented by Kaiser Permanente in Stockton on Friday, November 8 against the Santa Cruz Warriors. Tickets for the Stockton Kings 2019-20 season will go on sale on Tuesday, October 8. For more information visit StocktonKings.com.
