The South Carolina Stingrays battled the Cincinnati Cyclones in a pair of games at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio this week for a week record of 0-2-0-0.
On Friday, the Stingrays erased two three-goal deficits (3-0 and 4-1) to tie the game in the third period, but Cincinnati prevailed 6-5. Forward Hunter Bishop scored a goal and two assists and forward Justin Courtnall and defenseman Art Bidlevskii each netted their first professional goals. The two teams wrapped up their regular-season series Saturday evening with the Cyclones escaping with a 2-1 victory.

Taking the Lead

Defenseman Tommy Cross, currently with the Providence Burins of the American Hockey League, is tied for 14th among ECHL rookies and tied for 12th among league defensemen with 17 points (six goals, 11 assists).
Defenseman Art Bidlevskii is fourth among ECHL rookies with six major penalties.
