May 12, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC South Carolina Stingrays President Taylor Lee announced today that the Stingrays, the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center and CenterPlate Catering have come to an agreement which will benefit the team's season ticket holders in a variety of areas. Starting this season, current season ticket holders will have an option to purchase advance tickets to other events at the Coliseum, first right to special promotions and discounts offered by concert and event promoters and access to a season ticket holder concession window with discounted prices.
"This is going to be a great arrangement for our season ticket holders," noted Lee, "We have worked very hard with the Coliseum and Center Plate this year to come up with some added value for our best customers. These new benefits address many of the concerns and suggestions that our ticket holders have expressed to us in the past."
Starting immediately, Stingrays season ticket holders have the option to purchase advance tickets, through the Stingrays office, to other events that take place at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center.
"If you are a season ticket holder, your days of standing in line for concert or wrestling tickets are over," commented Stingrays Director of Ticket Operations Jason Oates. "Our best customers are also the Coliseum's best customers. We are both interested in providing more value to our ticket holders."
Season ticket holders will also have access to ticket discounts and promotions from other events.
"Our season ticket holder will now here directly from us via email, when there is an attractive discount of promotion on tickets for other events," added Oates.
A concession counter that will serve exclusively to season ticket holders will open outside section 106 when the puck drops in October. The season ticket holder concession stand will provide discounted prices, smaller lines and improved service for all the ticket holders concession needs.
"Center Plate catering has really stepped up to help us in our efforts to provide for our season ticket holders," added Lee. "Who wouldn't appreciate shorter lines and reduced prices!"
The Stingrays will drop the puck on their 12th season of hockey in the Lowcountry in October. The Stingrays new schedule is expected to be released within weeks.
