2004 Kelly Cup Finals (Best-of-Seven Series)
Idaho Steelheads (40-23-9) at Florida Everblades (37-25-10) 7:30 ET
* 2,787 miles and two time zones between Boise, Idaho and Estero, Florida.
* Idaho was one of six teams from the former West Coast Hockey League that joined the ECHL for 2003-04 while Florida is in its sixth season in the league.
* Florida's Tom Buckley leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with nine goals and 19 points (9g-10a) and is tied for the postseason lead with three game-winning goals and five game-winning points (3g-2a).
* Idaho's Jan Kopecky is tied for the Kelly Cup Playoffs lead with three game-winning goals while ranking second with seven goals and is tied for fifth in scoring with 12 points (7g-5a).
* Everblades' Reggie Berg leads the postseason in assists (13) and is second in scoring with 17 points (4g-13a).
* Steelheads' David Bararuk is tied for fourth in scoring among rookies with nine points (4g-5a).
* Florida's Ryan Brindley is tied for the postseason lead among defensemen with seven assists and nine points.
* Idaho's Darrell Hay Brindley is tied for the postseason lead among defensemen with seven assists and nine points while teammate Dan Vandermeer is tied for third in scoring with eight points (3g-5a).
* Idaho's Zenon Konopka is tied for the postseason lead with three game-winning goals and five game-winning points (3g-2a).
* Florida's Reggie Berg (1g-4a) and Ryan Brindley (2g-3a) are tied for the postseason lead with five game-winning points.
* Florida defenseman Tim O'Connell leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with a plus-minus rating of +14.
* Steelheads defenseman Dan Vandermeer has the postseason's third best plus-minus rating (+10).
* Everblades' Matt Pagnutti ranks third among defensemen with four goals in the Kelly Cup Playoffs and he is tied for fifth among defensemen with seven points.
* Idaho's Dan Ellis leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with nine wins and two shutouts while ranking third in goals against average (1.82) and save percentage (.941).
* Everblades' Rob Zepp is tied for second with one shutout and eight wins while ranking ninth in goals against average (2.16).
* Florida's power play ranks 11th in the postseason at 10.9 percent (7-for-64).
* Steelheads' power play ranks fifth in the postseason at 18 percent (9-for-50).
* Idaho's penalty kill ranks fourth in the Kelly Cup Playoffs at 87.2 percent (41-for-47).
* Everblades' penalty kill is 11th in the Kelly Cup Playoffs at 83.6 percent (56-for-67).
* Idaho began its run to the Kelly Cup Finals by overcoming an 0-2 deficit to beat Las Vegas three games to two in the Pacific Division Semifinals.
* Steelheads beat Alaska in four games in the Pacific Division Finals and Gwinnett in four games in the Western Conference Finals.
* Florida reached the Kelly Cup Finals by beating Roanoke in four games in the Southern Division Semifinals and swept South Carolina in three games in the Southern Division Finals.
* Everblades reached the Finals by defeating Reading in five games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
