
Stingrays Open Eastern Conference Semifinals at Home this Weekend

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC- The South Carolina Stingrays are #BACK4MORE. The club has advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the 2016 Kelly Cup Playoffs, and will play the Adirondack Thunder starting this weekend on home ice. Game 1 is this Friday, April 29 and Game 2 will be this Saturday, April 30. Both contests will be played at the North Charleston Coliseum with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Tickets are on sale at the North Charleston Coliseum Box Office and online via Ticketmaster.
Games 1 and 2 will feature a Cheer Sign Giveaway to help cheer us to victory! The Cheer Signs feature the "Let's Go Rays!" slogan on one side, and the #BACK4MORE playoff hashtag with a Stingrays logo on the other side.
The #2 Stingrays and #6 Thunder met three times in the regular season. South Carolina went 1-1-1-0 versus the Thunder, who are coached by former Stingrays player and coach, Cail MacLean. The Stingrays advanced to the Conference Semifinals with a 4-1 series win over #7 Kalamazoo, while the Thunder dispatched the #3 Manchester Monarchs with a 4-1 series win in the opening round. Adirondack is led by forward Greg Wolfe who leads the team with four postseason goals and seven points, while South Carolina is paced by Joe Devin who has notched five goals and seven points in the playoffs.

Fans who have signed up for Playoff Ticket Packages and Pay as We Play are to use ROUND TWO GAME A tickets for Friday's game and ROUND TWO GAME B tickets for Saturday.
Fans who got the first four playoff games as part of a Regular Season Ticket Plan will need to bring unused ROUND ONE GAME C and ROUND ONE GAME D tickets into the Stingrays offices this week to exchange them for tickets for Friday and Saturday.
Fans who do not currently have a ticket plan, but have caught the playoff fever, may lock in seats for the entire playoff run while saving money off walk-up pricing by contacting our office at 843-744-2248. Group rates for 10 or more tickets are also available.
