Allen, TEXAS - The Allen Americans are in a must win situation for the second night in a row as they battle the Idaho Steelheads tonight in Game 7 of their ECHL Quarterfinal Series. The puck drops at 7:05 PM at Allen Event Center.
The Americans limped back into Allen after dropping two straight in the series, including an embarrassing 7-1 loss last Saturday night in Idaho. The defending ECHL Kelly Cup Champions responded last night, scoring four unanswered goals in a 4-2 victory in Game 6 to even it up at three each.
"We always believed we win would the game," said Americans forward Tristan King, who scored his second of the playoffs last night. "We knew we had to fix the problems quickly and we did. This team is not quitters. We're ready for another fight this evening."
