Stingrays Bump Off Sea Wolves 4-1

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Jeremy Hall scored the Mississippi Sea Wolves' lone goal as the Sea Wolves fell 4-1 to the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum on Sunday.

Jeff Corey's one-time on a feed from Maxime Lacroix beat Sea Wolves goalie Mike Teslak over the glove to give South Carolina a 1-0 lead at 18:48 of the first period.

Jeremy Hall drew the Sea Wolves even with the Stingrays when his shot from the top of the right circle trickled past South Carolina netminder Ian Vigier at 2:08 of the second. Maxime Lacroix split the Sea Wolves defense and fired a shot past Teslak to give the Stingrays back the lead at 15:50 of the second. Lacroix would later pick up the rebound of a shot from Travis Morin at 19:05 to extend the Stingrays' lead to 3-1.

Jeff Corey would add his second goal of the game for insurance at 14:50 of the third period.

Mike Teslak made 37 saves, taking the loss, and the Sea Wolves power play was 0-for-4

Mississippi faces the South Carolina Stingrays Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m. CT at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina.
