
Stingrays Announce Roster Move

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud affiliate of the Washington Capitals, have released defenseman Evan Moore Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Ryan Warsofsky announced today.
Moore, 24, is in his rookie season. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound defenseman did not appear in any games for South Carolina this season.
Before turning pro, Moore played four years in the NCAA at Robert Morris University, appearing in 152 collegiate games while notching 31 points (four goals, 27 assists). The native of Grosse Point, Michigan signed with the Elmira Jackals on March 23 and appeared in one game last season, making his professional debut on March 26 versus Brampton.
The Stingrays return to the North Charleston Coliseum ice on Saturday when they battle the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 p.m.
