Stingrays Announce 2011-12 Regular Season Schedule

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today the 2011-12 regular season schedule. The 2011-12 season marks the Stingrays' 19th season of hockey in the Lowcountry.
The Stingrays kick off the campaign with Opening Weekend against the Reading Royals and Wheeling Nailers on Friday, October 14 and Saturday October 15 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The Stingrays will play 32 of their 36 total home games on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, up from 26 last season. The Stingrays will also make their first-ever trip to Chicago, Illinois to battle the newest member of the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Express, on Sunday, October 23 and will host the Express on Friday, February 10.

Throughout the 2011-12 campaign, the Stingrays will host several popular theme nights including Alumni Weekend, Teddy Bear Toss, New Year's Eve, Pack the House Night, Pink in the Rink, Fan Appreciation and more. The complete promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Stingrays regular season schedule ends on Saturday, March 31 against the Greenville Road Warriors at the North Charleston Coliseum.
